So much for expecting First Friday in August to be slow. Last night there was a steady stream of art on lookers until closing the doors at 8:30. Thanks to all who visited the gallery to check out our summer invitational. Great to see everyone! Just a reminder that First Friday in September we will not be open. Our next exhibition opens September 9th with new work by gallery artists Catherine O’Connell (paintings) and Stephen Blackburn (sculpture). See you First Friday in October.
Enjoy the rest of your summer and have a wonderful Labor Day Weekend!!
It is that time of year when we invite artists from the Philadelphia region working in abstraction, to show their work.  This summer we are pleased to exhibit works by 14 artists (one husband/wife collaboration).  After months of reviewing work it is always interesting to see the work within the context of the gallery and the show finally come together, once again providing a platform to showcase abstract and non-objective works by local artists.  Since RSVP2 is all about diversity, that is reflected in the distinct styles within this genre, various mediums, the artists’ education, exhibiting histories, ages and cultural backgrounds. Paintings, works on paper, photography and sculpture are included in this exhibition. It runs through August 20th.
